LOGISTICS OFFICER (1 POSITION) @ SOUTHERN LINK LIMITED
Southern Link Limited is seeking a dedicated Logistics Officer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and securing transport tenders, identifying new business opportunities, and actively marketing the company’s logistics services to expand the customer base. This role requires a proactive individual capable of driving growth while maintaining high service standards in a competitive transport environment.
In addition to business development, the Logistics Officer will oversee daily operations, including monitoring trucks in transit to ensure the timely and safe delivery of cargo. The role involves meticulous record-keeping, preparation of detailed operational reports, and ensuring full compliance with all relevant transport regulations. Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, the candidate will play a vital role in coordinating transport logistics and meeting organizational objectives through efficient resource management.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
3–5 years’ experience in logistics or transport operations.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Proven ability to source and secure transport tenders and new business opportunities.
Experience in marketing company logistics services and growing a customer base.
Capability to monitor trucks in transit and ensure timely delivery of cargo.
Proficiency in preparing transport operation reports and maintaining accurate records.
Thorough knowledge of transport regulations and compliance standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data tracking.
