The South Nyanza Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is pleased to announce two internship positions within its accounting department. This opportunity is tailored for motivated graduates who possess a degree in Accounting and are looking to apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical, mission-driven environment. The interns will play a supportive role in the conference's financial operations, assisting with bookkeeping and commercial transactions.
Candidates will gain valuable experience in financial administration, record-keeping, and the use of accounting software like Microsoft Excel. The internship aims to foster professional growth while upholding the core values of the SDA church. Key Requirements
Bachelor degree in Accounting or any degree with a major in Accounting.
A Good Knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
A Background in Bookkeeping and Commerce will be of an advantage.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
High level of integrity and professional ethics in handling financial data.
Commitment to the mission and values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English.
Willingness to undergo continuous professional development during the internship.
