Sourcere Sources is recruiting a Construction Manager / Senior Engineer specializing in Water Projects to oversee the execution of vital water infrastructure in Tanzania. The role involves managing on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with engineering designs, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. You will lead a team of engineers and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within the specified budget.
The successful candidate will possess a strategic mindset to troubleshoot site challenges and optimize resource allocation. You will act as the primary technical point of contact on-site, coordinating with project managers and clients to provide updates on construction progress. This position requires a leader with extensive experience in water distribution, treatment plants, or irrigation systems who is ready to make a significant impact on regional development.

Key Requirements
4 to 15 years of experience in water-related construction projects
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Water Engineering
Extensive experience in site supervision and team leadership
Strong knowledge of water treatment and distribution systems
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings
Certification in health and safety management
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site vendors
Expertise in quality control and assurance protocols
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Experience working in diverse geographical locations, preferably Africa
