PLANNING & BILLING ENGINEER @ SOURCE RESOURCES
Source Resources is seeking a dedicated Planning & Billing Engineer to join their growing team in Tanzania. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse and impactful projects across several key business sectors, including Water & Waste Water Management, Agriculture & Irrigation, Oil & Gas (Mid & Downstream), Power & Energy, and various Buildings & Structures. The professional will be at the heart of project operations, ensuring that all planning and financial documentation aligns with project goals and timelines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive project planning, budgeting, and the management of critical documentation. Key tasks include the preparation of work and resource plans, vendor negotiation, and the handling of contract agreements. You will also be expected to monitor project progress closely, providing detailed reports and managing the billing process for vendors and subcontractors to maintain project profitability and database accuracy. This role requires a blend of technical engineering knowledge and strong administrative and communication skills to effectively coordinate with all stakeholders.

Key Requirements
B.E. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
3 to 7 years of professional experience in planning and billing roles.
Proven expertise in project planning, budgeting, and documentation management.
Ability to prepare detailed work plans and resource allocation strategies.
Experience in material procurement documentation and coordination.
Strong skills in vendor and contractor negotiation and management.
Proficiency in handling contract agreements and subcontractor documentation.
Ability to perform monthly planning and billing reconciliations.
Competency in project progress monitoring and status reporting.
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
Familiarity with project tracking software and database management.
