TRAINING OFFICER (1 POSITION) @ SOTTA MINING CORPORATION LIMITED
The Training Officer is a central figure in the planning and execution of training initiatives across multiple departments including HR, Mining, Processing, and Maintenance. The primary objective is to ensure that all staff members are competent and continuously developing their skills in line with the company’s annual training schedules. This role involves a high level of coordination to implement plans based on Training Needs Analysis and ensure that training delivery is consistent with regulatory and company standards.
In addition to planning duties, the Training Officer is tasked with promoting a culture of safety and environmental awareness throughout the organization. By evaluating the effectiveness of various programs and collaborating with external providers and contractors, the officer helps drive workforce upskilling and operational effectiveness. This position requires a professional with extensive experience in the mining industry and a deep understanding of training management systems and documentation protocols.

Key Requirements
Diploma or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or OHS.
Recognized training qualification like Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
Minimum 7 years' experience within mining or processing operations.
At least 5 years' specialized experience in professional training and development.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and presentation purposes.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate training across various technical departments.
Experience implementing Training Needs Analysis (TNA) strategies.
Strong capability in maintaining meticulous training and compliance records.
Ability to liaise with external training providers and stakeholders effectively.
