NETWORK OPERATIONS ENGINEER @ SOLVO GLOBAL
Solvo Global is seeking a dedicated Network Operations Engineer to join the team on-site in Kenya. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the 24/7 availability and high performance of our network infrastructure through proactive monitoring, swift incident response, and efficient escalation management. You will be a vital part of a technical team responsible for maintaining strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and supporting business-critical operations across various departments.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex networking issues and implement robust technical solutions. This position requires a professional with a deep understanding of network protocols and security measures. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our wired and wireless networks, ensuring a seamless experience for all users and stakeholders within the organization's ecosystem.

Key Requirements
Demonstrated fluency in English for effective professional communication.
Hands-on experience with Meraki networking solutions and hardware.
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, and Quality of Service (QoS).
Proven experience managing firewalls, specifically Cisco ASA, Fortinet, and WatchGuard.
Proficiency with network monitoring tools including SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, or Cosmos.
Ability to conduct detailed packet analysis using Wireshark and tcpdump.
Expertise in managing VPNs, SD-WAN, and load balancer configurations.
Strong technical knowledge of wired networks (Ethernet and fiber) and wireless network standards.
Previous experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) and hospitality technology is highly preferred.
Ability to provide 24/7 technical support and participate in on-site incident response management.
