IT ASSISTANT @ SOLOMON STOCKBROKERS LIMITED
SOLOMON Stockbrokers Limited is seeking a proactive and self-driven IT Assistant to join our technical team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our internal operations by ensuring that all computer systems, networks, and digital platforms run smoothly and efficiently. This position is ideal for an individual with a solid foundation in IT principles and a passion for troubleshooting, as you will be the first point of contact for technical assistance for our staff.
The IT Assistant will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software solutions across the company. Beyond routine maintenance, the role involves diagnosing complex technical issues, managing user access rights, and assisting with data security initiatives. You will work closely with the Chief Officer of Information Technology to implement best practices and maintain accurate documentation of all technical interventions, ensuring that our infrastructure supports the high standards required of a licensed stockbroker and investment advisor.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting IT systems.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and network infrastructure.
Ability to manage user accounts and implement access control policies.
Basic understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS) and website maintenance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective user support and documentation.
Ability to handle data backups and prioritize cybersecurity protocols.
Competence in hardware installation, configuration, and diagnostics.
