GLOBAL MONITORING & EVALUATION (M&E) MANAGER @ SOLAR SISTER
Solar Sister is seeking a dedicated Global Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Manager to join our mission of eradicating energy poverty through women-led clean energy businesses. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving best practices in monitoring, evaluation, compliance, data systems, and knowledge management across our operations in Nigeria, Kenya, and Tanzania. You will work closely with the Impact Hub Director to track organizational impact, support in-country teams, and ensure data-driven decision-making processes.
This is a virtual, full-time position that requires a high degree of independence and cross-cultural communication skills. The successful candidate will design M&E training programs, manage Salesforce dashboards, produce detailed insights for annual and donor reports, and support the development team with data for grant proposals. You will act as a thought leader, representing the organization at industry conferences and ensuring our internal systems provide the technical rigor required to scale our 10,000+ entrepreneur network.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, International Development, or Statistics
Minimum 6 years of total professional experience
Minimum 3 years of professional M&E experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
Strong technical writing and presentation skills
Experience in international, gender, or climate development programs
Ability to travel internationally for field assessments
Strong cross-cultural interpersonal communication
Capacity to manage competing priorities in a remote setting
