Sokeny Polyclinic is looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to join its growing healthcare team. The primary role involves dispensing medications accurately and efficiently while providing professional advice to patients regarding both prescription and over-the-counter drugs. You will be responsible for ensuring that all medicines are stored and handled according to medical standards to maintain their efficacy and safety to ensure patient wellbeing.
In addition to dispensing, the Pharmacist will be tasked with maintaining meticulous pharmacy records and managing stock levels to prevent shortages. A key part of the role is collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care. The candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and potential side effects.

Key Requirements
Diploma in Pharmacy
Valid practicing license
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Previous work experience is an added advantage
Proficient in drug inventory management and procurement
Ability to counsel patients on medication usage and safety
In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and ethics
High level of detail orientation for accurate dispensing
Basic computer skills for pharmacy record-keeping
Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
