MONITORING & EVALUATION (M&E) OFFICER @ SOCIETIES TRANSFORMATION AND WELFARE IMPROVEMENTS (STAWI)
STAWI is looking for a dedicated Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer to significantly strengthen its Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) systems. This role is crucial for managing project monitoring activities, overseeing data collection processes, and ensuring accurate reporting across all programs. The M&E Officer will be instrumental in coordinating evaluations, conducting research, and maintaining robust digital data systems to facilitate evidence-based decision-making.
The successful candidate will contribute to the continuous improvement of STAWI's programs by providing timely and relevant data for learning and accountability. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong commitment to data quality and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, primarily based in Nzega District, Tabora Region.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, Project Management, Agriculture, Social Sciences, or related field.
Master's degree or professional M&E certification is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of M&E experience in NGOs or donor-funded programs.
Experience with MEAL systems, surveys, impact assessments, and digital data collection tools such as KoboToolbox, ODK, or SurveyCTO.
Proficiency in data analysis software like Power BI, SPSS, STATA, or R.
Strong analytical, reporting, and data management skills.
Ability to design and implement comprehensive M&E frameworks and plans.
Experience in developing and managing databases for M&E data storage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for M&E report writing and presentations.
Commitment to ensuring data quality, integrity, and ethical research practices.
