LIGHT VEHICLE DRIVER (MANUAL LICENSE) @ SMC STEEL
SMC Steel is seeking a dedicated Light Vehicle Driver to join our industrial team in Saja'a, Sharjah. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide safe and efficient transportation services across the UAE while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. The driver will be expected to maintain the vehicle in good condition and manage daily transport logs effectively. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of UAE roads and a professional demeanor suited for a corporate industrial environment. This position plays a critical role in our logistics chain, ensuring that personnel and light materials are delivered on schedule. In addition to driving, the candidate may be required to assist with administrative transport tasks or coordinate with the logistics department regarding route efficiency. A commitment to road safety and punctuality is essential for success in this role at SMC Steel.
Key Requirements
Valid UAE Manual Driving License
Minimum of 1 year UAE driving experience
Excellent knowledge of UAE roads and traffic rules
Strong communication skills in English or Arabic
Proven track record of being responsible and punctual
Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks
Clean driving record with no recent major violations
Capability to navigate using GPS and physical maps effectively
Commitment to maintaining vehicle cleanliness and upkeep
