The role involves the evaluation and procurement of minerals from various sites, requiring a deep understanding of mineral grading and current market pricing. The candidate will operate primarily in the field, representing the company in negotiations and ensuring high-quality acquisition of materials. This is a field-heavy role that requires frequent travel to mining areas, specifically focused around the Dodoma Region. The successful candidate will manage field operations, build relationships with local suppliers, and ensure that all purchasing activities comply with company standards and national regulations. Negotiation skills and technical knowledge of base metals are critical for success in this position.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in purchasing and evaluating minerals.
Must have experience in Copper and Nickel minerals.
Good understanding of mineral grading and market pricing.
Strong negotiation and field operation skills.
Relevant working experience in the mining or mineral trading field.
Must be hardworking, trustworthy, and ready to work in mining environments.
