LABORATORY TECHNICIAN @ SKYDISCOVERY MINING COMPANY LIMITED
SKYDISCOVERY MINING COMPANY LIMITED is recruiting a Laboratory Technician to join our mineral analysis team in Dodoma. The technician will be responsible for preparing mineral samples and conducting detailed chemical and geological analyses to determine grade and quality. This role requires a strong academic background in chemistry or geology and practical experience with laboratory equipment. The technician must adhere to strict safety protocols while maintaining precise documentation of all test results. Work is conducted primarily within the laboratory environment at our mining site in Haneti. The role requires a meticulous individual who can manage multiple samples under pressure and provide accurate data to support our mining and purchasing teams.
Key Requirements
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Geology, Mineral Processing, or a related field.
Experience in mineral sample preparation and analysis.
Knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety procedures.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Relevant working experience in the laboratory or mining field.
Must be hardworking, trustworthy, and ready to work in mining environments.
Ability to calibrate and maintain sensitive laboratory instruments.
Proficiency in chemical reagent handling and waste management.
Strong mathematical skills for data calculation and interpretation.
Excellent record-keeping skills for experimental and test results.
