OS IMAGE ENGINEER – TOOL INFRASTRUCTURE (1 POSITION) @ SKALENSEMI
SkalenSemi is looking for an OS Image Engineer to join the Tool Infrastructure team in Gdansk, Poland. This hybrid role is centered on building and managing OS images and the underlying tool infrastructure necessary for large-scale engineering projects. The engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of OS builds, ensuring that they are optimized for performance, security, and compatibility across various hardware platforms. This position requires a deep understanding of Linux systems and the ability to automate build processes using modern tooling. Candidates will contribute to the development of infrastructure that supports continuous integration and delivery. Key Requirements
2 to 5 years of experience specialized in OS imaging or tool infrastructure.
Expertise in Linux/OS build processes and system configuration.
Proficiency in Python tooling for automation and infrastructure management.
Hands-on experience with Artifactory for managing build artifacts.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana or Zabbix.
Familiarity with DUT infrastructure and hardware-level troubleshooting.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid office/remote model.
Background in software engineering or systems administration.
Strong analytical skills for optimizing tool infrastructure performance.
