LEAD ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER @ SITE TECHNOLOGY
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Electrical Design Engineer to spearhead our high-voltage substation projects. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of hands-on experience in the UAE, specifically focusing on 400/220/132kV and 33/11kV substation design. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of electrical engineering tasks, including the development of Single Line Diagrams (SLD), General Arrangements (GA), and comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Your expertise will ensure that all designs comply with TRANSCO and ADDC/AADC standards.
In addition to technical design, the role involves significant coordination with Civil and MEP teams, as well as external consultants and contractors. You will provide essential engineering support during the installation and commissioning phases, ensuring that all FAT, SCMS, and FMS documentation processes are followed correctly. This position requires a proactive approach to client interactions and tender site visits to ensure project milestones are met with precision and excellence.

Key Requirements
10-15 years of UAE experience in 400/220/132kV & 33/11kV substation design.
Proven experience with TRANSCO and ADDC/AADC projects.
Proficiency in electrical design & engineering including SLD, GA, layouts, BOQ, and SOW.
Expertise in DC charger & battery sizing, lighting protection, and relay settings.
Experience preparing SAT, cable, and termination schedules.
Highly proficient in ETAP for load flow and protection studies.
In-depth knowledge of IEEE, IEC, TRANSCO, ADDC, and AADC standards.
Hands-on experience in tender site visits and professional client interactions.
Capable of handling complex documentation and regulatory approvals.
Excellent coordination skills with Civil, MEP, contractors, and consultants.
Experience in engineering support for on-site installation and commissioning.
Strong ability to prepare detailed weekly and monthly progress reports.
