CUSTOM CLEARING ASSISTANT @ SINOTRUCK TZ
Sinotruck Tz is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custom Clearing Assistant to join our logistics team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire end-to-end custom clearance process for our fleet of bulk carriers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) regulations.
In this role, you will work closely with port authorities and logistics partners to facilitate the smooth transit of goods via TANCIS. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of international trade protocols, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy while managing multiple time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements
Familiarity with local customs laws and tariff regulations
Proven ability to handle full custom clearance process for bulk carriers via TRA and TANCIS
High attention to detail and strong communication skills
Capacity to handle time-sensitive tasks under pressure
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Customs Administration, Business Administration, or International Trade
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation management
Strong analytical and organizational abilities
Commitment to ethical practices and regulatory compliance
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Valid professional certification in customs handling is a plus
