CREDIT & OPERATIONS LEAD @ SIMPLIFY CREDIT
Simplify Credit is a new Tanzanian microfinance venture built by the team behind Simplify. We are seeking a proactive Credit & Operations Lead to join our team as our first hire. In this critical role, you will work directly with the Managing Director to help establish and scale our lending business from the ground up, ensuring operational excellence and sustainable growth in the Tanzanian market.
You will be responsible for managing lending operations end-to-end, including appraisal, disbursement controls, collections, and portfolio quality management. You will also play a key role in driving business growth through employer partnerships, supporting the Bank of Tanzania licensing process, and recruiting and training our inaugural team of loan officers and collections officers.

Key Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in microfinance or consumer/SME lending.
At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong hands-on experience across the full credit cycle with demonstrable portfolio quality results.
Proven track record of growing a branch, loan book, or partner network.
Good understanding of Bank of Tanzania microfinance regulations.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Fluent in Swahili and English.
High integrity and able to pass background and reference checks.
Experience working in a licensed financial institution is an added advantage.
Ability to build and manage lending operations from the ground up.
