ACCOUNTING TRAINEE @ SIMBAFOREST

You will be responsible for supporting the finance team with daily bookkeeping, reconciliation of accounts, and preparation of basic financial statements. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced finance professionals to learn core accounting principles and standard operating procedures within the company.
We are specifically looking for candidates residing in Iringa, Mafinga, or the surrounding neighborhoods, as proximity to our operational site is highly preferred. As an Accounting Trainee, you will contribute to maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with audit preparation, and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and high ethical standards
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills in both English and Swahili
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
