ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT @ SIM ENERGIES LIMITED
SIM ENERGIES LIMITED is currently seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team. This role is crucial for managing our financial operations, requiring a strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable, as well as comprehensive knowledge of statutory filing processes, including VAT, PAYE, WHT, and NSSF. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our finance department, contributing to the efficient and accurate handling of all accounting duties.

Key Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting role
Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Proficiency in statutory filing requirements (VAT, PAYE, WHT, NSSF)
Good experience with SAP/ERP systems
Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel)
Detail-oriented and highly accurate in financial record-keeping
Demonstrated trustworthiness and integrity
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Basic knowledge of After Effects (as stated in the original post)
Preferred background in Energy or Audit industry
