PORT CLERK @ SILENT OCEAN
Kilimanjaro Inland Container Depot (KICD) is looking for a dynamic Port Clerk to join our newly established inland terminal near Dar es Salaam Port. This role involves the physical and administrative tracking of containers as they arrive and depart from our facility. The Port Clerk ensures that all cargo handling matches the manifest and that terminal operations run smoothly and efficiently to support our import and export clients.

Key Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Clearing and Forwarding or Port Operations
Experience working within a port, ICD, or terminal environment
Ability to maintain accurate physical and digital records of cargo
Strong organizational and time management skills
Physical fitness for working in an active terminal environment
Basic computer literacy for cargo tracking and reporting
Effective communication skills to coordinate with truck drivers and crane operators
Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards in a port
Ability to work flexible hours including shifts and weekends
Strong problem-solving skills to address operational delays
