LOGISTICS OFFICER @ SILAFRICA
Silafrica is seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Officer to join our team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient movement of goods, coordinating transport logistics, and ensuring that supply chain processes are executed smoothly to meet operational requirements. You will play a key role in maintaining high service standards while managing day-to-day logistics operations.
In this position, you will work closely with various departments to optimize workflows and implement best practices in logistics management. We are looking for a proactive professional who can handle the complexities of transportation scheduling, inventory oversight, and system-based tracking to improve overall company efficiency. The role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to solve operational challenges effectively.

Key Requirements
Bachelor degree in logistics and transportation
3 years working experience as logistics officer in logistics transportation companies
Proven knowledge of Syspro and WMS systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong organizational and time management capabilities
Knowledge of local transportation regulations and compliance
Fluency in English and Swahili
