ORACLE SCM CLOUD – SUPPLY PLANNING LEAD @ SIERRA SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS
This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced Oracle SCM Cloud – Supply Planning Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end supply chain planning execution, particularly for a high-tech/telecom environment, serving client IBM. This role requires overseeing global planning operations, managing subcontract manufacturing processes, and leading system integration and automation initiatives specifically within the Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Planning platform. This remote position offers a rate as per market standards.
Key responsibilities include leading the Oracle Cloud Supply Planning team and ensuring accurate demand signals are communicated effectively to global Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners. The role involves monitoring daily planning cycles, tracking operational KPIs, and serving as the functional lead for various planning initiatives. A strong background in subcontract manufacturing planning is essential, including onboarding and managing multiple CM partners directly within Oracle Cloud and executing detailed planning scenarios and KPI comparisons. Furthermore, the role involves validating inbound data from CM partners and SAP ERP systems, conducting root cause analysis for data inconsistencies, and ensuring overall data integrity across all planning platforms.
Beyond core planning, the role demands strong technical integration skills, specifically linking Oracle Cloud Supply Planning with SAP ERP and developing robust reporting integrations using Snowflake. Experience supporting advanced capabilities like AI/ML-driven forecasting models and configuring orchestration tools, such as Apache Airflow DAG Scheduler, is highly valued. The Lead will be expected to continuously drive process improvement, develop automation solutions for planning workflows, and implement system enhancements aligned with the evolving business needs of the global operations. The ideal candidate will also possess experience in large-scale global planning transformations and managing distributed global teams.
