LEGAL ASSOCIATE @ SHIKANA GROUP
Shikana Group is looking for a qualified Legal Associate to join its Investment, Corporate & Regulatory Advisory team in Dar es Salaam. This onsite position involves providing expert legal and regulatory advisory services, supporting complex investment transactions such as Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Joint Ventures (JVs), and Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs). The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting detailed legal opinions and reports while ensuring robust corporate compliance and performing company secretarial duties for a variety of clients.

Key Requirements
Must possess a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university.
Must have successfully completed Law School (Mandatory).
At least 1-2 years of experience working in corporate or commercial law.
Demonstrated strength in legal drafting and analytical reporting.
Fluency in both English and Kiswahili for professional communication.
Proven experience in providing investment and transaction support.
Familiarity with Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Joint Venture (JV) structures.
Knowledge of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) legal frameworks.
Strong understanding of corporate compliance and company secretarial work.
Ability to work onsite at the Dar es Salaam office location.
