LEGAL ASSOCIATE @ SHIKANA GROUP
Shikana Group is seeking a dedicated and ambitious Legal Associate to join our team in Tanzania. This role is central to our operations, focusing on investment advisory, regulatory navigation, and corporate transactional work for clients deploying significant capital within the region. You will also be involved in high-stakes arbitration and commercial litigation, handling real mandates that require a commitment to excellence and a high standard of professional output. The successful candidate will receive direct mentorship and exposure to senior-level board rooms, regulators, and complex deal negotiations. Key Requirements
LLB degree from a recognized institution
Completion of Law School and enrollment at the bar
1-2 years of relevant legal experience
Fluency in both English and Kiswahili
Expertise in investment advisory and regulatory navigation
Experience in corporate and transactional legal work
Proficiency in arbitration and commercial litigation
Strong legal drafting skills with attention to detail
Ability to handle high-stakes mandates and tight deadlines
