LEGAL OFFICER (ENTRY-LEVEL) @ SHIKANA GROUP INVESTMENT & LEGAL ADVISORY
As an Entry-Level Legal Officer at SHIKANA GROUP, you will be instrumental in supporting various legal and advisory functions. Your daily responsibilities will involve drafting essential legal documents such as engagement letters, agreements, and professional correspondence. You will play a key role in supporting critical administrative processes including company registration, obtaining necessary licenses, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing work permits, residence permits, and other immigration-related processes, alongside assisting with intellectual property registrations and conducting thorough legal research to prepare structured notes for internal use.
This role is ideally suited for a recent law graduate or an early-stage legal professional, with a particular welcome extended to graduates from Tanzanian law schools. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, a strong work ethic, and an insatiable curiosity about how law operates within a real business context. Upholding integrity, honesty, and truth is paramount for this position. You will also contribute to articles, legal content, and knowledge platforms, and engage with small enterprises and entrepreneurs through the 'Know My Legal' platform.

Key Requirements
