We are looking for a PV System Designer to join our team in Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed designs for solar installations, focusing on efficiency and sustainability. You will play a crucial role in expanding Kenya's renewable energy capacity through innovative engineering and design solutions.
This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from residential rooftop solar to utility-scale solar farms. You will contribute to the entire project lifecycle, from initial assessment to final commissioning. Candidates with a strong portfolio of past designs and a deep understanding of the African energy market are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Requirements
Expertise in PV System Design and relevant engineering software.
Deep knowledge of renewable energy engineering principles.
Experience with battery storage and inverter technologies.
Understanding of grid integration and smart energy systems.
Ability to conduct site surveys and detailed energy audits.
Proficiency in technical documentation and engineering reporting.
Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting PV systems.
Familiarity with Kenyan energy regulations and standards.
Experience in project-based or contract engineering roles.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for team projects.
