MAINTENANCE FOREMAN (2 POSITIONS) @ SHANTA MINING COMPANY LIMITED
Shanta Mining Company Limited is looking for experienced Maintenance Foremen to join the underground mining team at Singida Gold Mine. This role is responsible for the supervision of maintenance activities for fixed plant and underground equipment, ensuring high availability and reliability for mining operations. Candidates will lead maintenance crews and coordinate effectively with contractors and other departments to meet operational goals.
Key Requirements
Trade Test Certificate in Mechanical or Diesel Fitting
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is highly advantageous
Minimum 7 years maintenance experience in industrial settings
At least 3 years in a supervisory role managing crews
Experience with Sandvik underground mining equipment
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Ability to maintain accurate maintenance documentation
Experience managing preventive and corrective maintenance plans
Sound understanding of health and safety regulations
Ability to work the 6 weeks on/3 weeks off roster
