ACCOUNTANTS (5 POSITIONS) @ SHAMO INDUSTRIES
SHAMO Industries is seeking five dedicated Accountants to join their Finance Department in Dar es Salaam. The primary purpose of this role is to support the Head of Accounts and Management through the execution of routine accounting tasks, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy in financial reporting and regulatory compliance. This position is exclusively open to female applicants who are eager to contribute to a dynamic industrial environment. Salary Range: 600,000 – 800,000.
The successful candidates will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including payroll preparation, managing statutory returns for TRA, NSSF, and WCF, and maintaining meticulous financial records. Beyond daily operations, the accountants will perform financial analyses, develop budgets, and handle tax computations. The role involves working from the company's offices at Shamo Park House in Mbezi, providing critical support during monthly and year-end financial closings.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3–5 years of professional experience in finance and taxation roles.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English for professional communication.
High level of computer literacy, specifically in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong IT knowledge and ability to adapt to accounting software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
Must be not more than 45 years of age.
Ability to prepare and examine payroll and financial statements accurately.
Knowledge of Tanzanian statutory requirements including TRA, NSSF, and WCF.
Proven ability to conduct financial analysis and variance reports for budgets.
