HUMAN RESOURCES & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER @ SHADES OF GREEN SAFARIS
Shades of Green Safaris is a premier Destination Management Company with 16 years of expertise, currently expanding its hospitality portfolio through the development of luxury safari lodges. The company seeks a strategic Human Resources & Administration Manager to oversee all HR functions and administrative operations to support this growth phase. The successful candidate will report directly to the Group Managing Director and play a pivotal role in establishing robust organizational systems, fostering a culture of professional excellence, and ensuring operational compliance. This role involves travel to various company properties to supervise facilities and ensure consistent HR implementation across all operational sites. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced tourism environment, helping to build a high-performing workforce that aligns with the company's vision of providing exceptional safari experiences. You will be responsible for setting the standard for employee engagement and administrative efficiency within the group.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership capacity.
Proven expertise in establishing and managing HR systems and administrative processes.
Deep knowledge of Tanzanian labour legislation and employment compliance standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
Experience in the hospitality, tourism, or luxury lodge sector is strongly preferred.
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Relevant professional HR certifications.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams.
