MARKETING OFFICER – SELOUS KINGA LODGE @ SELOUS KINGA LODGE
The Marketing Officer role at Selous Kinga Lodge is a strategic position focused on driving brand awareness and increasing bookings for our luxury safari property. Based in Dar es Salaam, you will develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns, build strong partnerships with travel agents and tour operators, and identify new business opportunities in both local and international markets. You will be responsible for the lodge's digital presence, including social media, website content, and review platforms like TripAdvisor. Additionally, you will coordinate the production of promotional materials and represent the lodge at major tourism expos and networking events. By monitoring industry trends and analyzing monthly KPI reports, you will ensure our marketing strategies remain competitive and effective. This role requires a creative individual with a strong understanding of the hospitality and tourism landscape in Tanzania.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field.
Minimum 3 years' marketing experience in tourism, hospitality, or safari industry.
Strong digital marketing and content strategy skills.
Knowledge of Tanzania's tourism industry is an advantage.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
Experience managing online travel agencies (OTAs) and booking platforms.
Proficiency in graphic design tools or social media management software.
Proven track record in lead generation and B2B relationship building.
Ability to travel for networking events and site visits.
Creative thinking and ability to develop unique campaign concepts.
