LODGE MANAGER – SELOUS KINGA LODGE @ SELOUS KINGA LODGE
Selous Kinga Lodge is a luxury safari destination situated in the heart of Selous National Park, dedicated to providing exceptional hospitality and unforgettable wildlife experiences. As the Lodge Manager, you will be the primary leader on-site, responsible for overseeing all daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, and managing a diverse team across multiple departments including housekeeping, maintenance, and kitchen services. Your role involves strategic oversight of budgets, stock control, and financial reporting, alongside a focus on staff development and performance management. You will act as a key representative of the lodge, building relationships with guests and stakeholders while implementing sustainability initiatives that align with our commitment to eco-tourism. This is a full-time position requiring a blend of operational excellence and passion for the safari industry in a remote and beautiful environment.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
5+ years' management experience in a luxury lodge or 5-star hotel.
Strong financial management and reporting skills.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Knowledge of food & beverage operations and hospitality standards.
Passion for eco-tourism and safari experiences.
Ability to work in remote environments and handle logistical challenges.
Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and hospitality software.
Strong interpersonal skills for high-level guest interactions.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Swahili or other languages is an advantage.
