Securiport Tanzania is seeking three dedicated Software Developers to join their team in Dar es Salaam. The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated software solutions that support mission-critical immigration processes. The role involves creating efficient, secure, and user-friendly applications for case management, visa processing, and compliance tracking. Successful candidates will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that systems meet specific business needs, client requirements, and regulatory standards within the airline and aviation industry.
Key responsibilities include writing, testing, and maintaining high-quality code, developing secure APIs for biometric data systems and payment gateways, and creating intuitive user interfaces for immigration officers. The developer will also be tasked with troubleshooting performance issues, ensuring system stability, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of source code and system workflows. This position is open to Tanzanian nationals only and requires a professional who can navigate the complexities of data privacy and cybersecurity in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years of professional experience in software development.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
Experience with web development frameworks such as Angular, React, or Django.
Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Proficiency in database integration and query optimization.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards like GDPR.
Fluency in both English and Kiswahili, both spoken and written.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a mission-critical environment.
Experience in industries handling sensitive data like Legal, Government, or Aviation.
