INVESTMENT ANALYST @ SAYUNI CAPITAL
Sayuni Capital is currently seeking a motivated and analytical Investment Analyst to join our expanding team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and managing investment opportunities within the private credit and impact investing sectors. You will work closely with high-potential small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Tanzania to facilitate growth, provide strategic advisory, and ensure that our portfolio companies achieve both financial success and measurable social impact.
In this role, you will perform deep-dive financial analysis, conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential deals, and monitor the performance of current investments. Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in banking, investment, consulting, financial advisory, or audit.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing investment memos.
Ability to work effectively with SME owners and entrepreneurs.
Deep understanding of the Tanzanian market and the challenges facing SMEs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for financial analysis.
Ability to conduct thorough market research and industry analysis.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on risk assessment and mitigation.
