BANCASSURANCE RELATIONSHIP MANAGER @ SANLAMALLIANZ
The Bancassurance Relationship Manager at SanlamAllianz is responsible for the distribution of General Insurance products through an extensive network of partner banks. This role involves serving as the primary first-level contact for operations, ensuring that the insurance business targets are consistently met. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of the Bancassurance Premium Budget and provide satisfactory customer service to bank partners, fostering strong professional ties with high-profile financial institutions.
Key aspects of the role include liaising with internal departments such as claims, underwriting, and finance to ensure smooth service delivery and operational efficiency. The manager will evaluate the performance of each bank partner, providing strategic advice on improvements and maintaining a prospect list for all business lines. Furthermore, the role involves assisting in the development of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and department procedure manuals to maintain high standards of customer service and operational integrity within the bancassurance framework.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in insurance, marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in Bancassurance or General Insurance.
Significant exposure to bank operations and distribution networks.
Proven market intelligence and business development skills.
Strong market awareness and a deep focus on customer satisfaction.
Commitment to continuous innovation in insurance product distribution.
Ability to oversee and maintain business relationships with high-profile banks.
Experience liaising with claims, underwriting, and finance departments.
Competency in evaluating bank performance and offering improvement advice.
