ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER – TREASURY @ SANLAM ALLIANZ
Sanlam Allianz is looking for a skilled Assistant Finance Manager – Treasury to lead treasury operations and liquidity management. This role is critical for ensuring efficient financial operations, managing cash flows, and overseeing the investment of excess funds into various instruments like Treasury bonds and call accounts. The manager will be responsible for ensuring that all payments are processed accurately, timely, and in accordance with the Delegation of Authority (DOA).
Beyond daily transactions, the Assistant Finance Manager will focus on maintaining rigorous controls over payment validation and system reconciliations using platforms like Premia and Sage. The role involves preparing detailed investment reports and regulatory returns, as well as driving process improvements through automation. Candidates should possess a strong analytical mindset and a commitment to data integrity to support the organization's financial stability and compliance goals.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
CPA or equivalent professional qualification is required.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or finance operations.
Expertise in treasury operations and liquidity management.
Proficiency in monthly bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
Experience in investing excess funds into Treasury bonds or fixed deposits.
Skilled in managing automated payment systems and bank uploads.
Ability to reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve variances.
Strong understanding of financial reporting and data analysis.
Proven track record in process improvement and internal controls.
