SAFETY OFFICER @ SAFIR SHAFAR
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our dynamic construction team in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site safety, ensuring that all construction activities adhere to local regulations and international safety standards. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards and implementing effective mitigation strategies to protect our workforce and assets. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience within the UAE construction sector and be ready to hit the ground running. You will be tasked with conducting regular safety audits, providing health and safety training to site personnel, and managing incident reporting processes. Key Requirements
Minimum 05-10 years of experience in the relevant construction field.
Should be locally available in the United Arab Emirates.
Immediate or short notice joiners only.
Strong understanding of UAE construction safety regulations.
Ability to conduct comprehensive site safety audits and inspections.
Proficiency in risk assessment and hazard mitigation planning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training staff.
Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent).
Experience in managing and reporting workplace accidents or incidents.
Capability to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
