TRACKING & HSE OFFICER @ SAFETY CULTURE SCGS
Safety Culture SCGS is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tracking & HSE Officer to manage fleet operations and oversee health and safety compliance at our Kigamboni facility in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational efficiency by monitoring real-time vehicle movements, analyzing driver performance, and ensuring that all transport activities adhere to safety standards.
In addition to fleet management, the role involves driving a culture of safety across the organization. You will conduct regular site inspections, lead safety training sessions, and ensure full compliance with internal and legal HSE policies. We are looking for an individual who is committed to continuous improvement, workplace safety, and operational excellence, capable of translating data into actionable reports that drive productivity while mitigating environmental and safety risks.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Transport Management, Logistics, or Environmental Management.
Proven experience in fleet tracking, transport operations, or HSE roles.
Solid understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare performance reports.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to facilitate toolbox talks and safety inductions.
Proficiency in monitoring GPS tracking software and vehicle telemetry.
Knowledge of local transportation regulations and environmental laws.
NOSHIC I & II Certification is preferred.
Valid driving licence is an added advantage.
