FLEET CONTROL & TRACKING OFFICER-FUEL TANKS OPERATIONS @ SAFARIKUU COMPANY LIMITED
Safarikuu Company Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fleet Control & Tracking Officer to join our Fleet Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and coordinating the movement of our tanker and flatbed fleets operating across Tanzania, Zambia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient transport operations. This role involves real-time monitoring of fleet movements using GPS and IVMS technology to maintain operational excellence.
The position requires a candidate capable of handling high-pressure situations, including responding to accidents, breakdowns, and security incidents. You will act as a key liaison between drivers, management, and customers, ensuring that all journey management plans are strictly followed. You will also participate in performance evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the safety and efficiency of our transport operations.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport Management, or related field.
Minimum 2 years' experience in fleet tracking or dispatch operations.
Hands-on experience using GPS and IVMS fleet management systems.
Strong understanding of cross-border transport regulations in Tanzania, Zambia, and DRC.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for reporting.
Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity and professional commitment to safety.
Strong communication skills for effective coordination.
Attention to detail regarding route compliance and operational data.
