Safari Quest Adventurez is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Travel Consultant to join our team in Zanzibar, Tanzania. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding international and local travelers through the process of planning and booking their ideal safari and coastal adventures. You will serve as an ambassador for the wild beauty of Tanzania, crafting unique experiences that leave a lasting impression on our clients while maintaining the high standards of service our company is known for. Your primary duties will involve the creation of customized itineraries that cater to the specific needs and interests of each traveler. You will professionally handle all customer inquiries, promote our diverse range of travel packages, and foster strong relationships with both clients and local service providers. This position offers a dynamic work environment with significant opportunities for professional growth and the chance to interact with a global clientele in one of the world's most beautiful travel destinations.
Key Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field of study.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist a diverse range of clients.
Comprehensive knowledge of Tanzania's tourism destinations, including parks and beaches.
Previous experience in sales and marketing is highly preferred for this role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and various online communication platforms.
Fluency in both English and Swahili, both written and spoken.
Ability to design and manage complex, customized travel itineraries.
Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with international clients.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
A proactive approach to promoting company travel packages and services.
