Responsibilities include meticulous scheduling of maintenance tasks, overseeing complex diagnostic procedures, accurate ordering of necessary parts, and ensuring strict compliance with all operational guidelines and safety protocols. This role demands a hands-on approach, strong technical expertise, and effective leadership to minimize vehicle downtime and optimize fleet performance.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in supervising vehicle maintenance, particularly for heavy-duty trucks.
Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and advanced diagnostics.
Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and mentor a team of technicians.
Excellent problem-solving skills for complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Proficiency in planning and scheduling maintenance tasks efficiently.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency for reporting.
Demonstrated honesty, diligence, and responsibility.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.
