This crucial role ensures that all tires are consistently in optimal condition, contributing directly to enhanced vehicle safety, improved fuel efficiency, and overall operational readiness. The technician will meticulously manage tire inventory, maintain accurate records of all tire service activities, and ensure compliance with all safety protocols related to tire handling and maintenance.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a tire technician, specifically with heavy-duty truck tires.
Ability to perform tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and comprehensive repair services.
Strong knowledge of different tire types, their specifications, and applications for trucks.
Understanding of tire pressure monitoring systems and proper inflation techniques.
Ability to safely and effectively use specialized tire changing equipment.
