Key Requirements
Proven experience in clearing and forwarding within Tanzania or East Africa.
Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in relevant software and documentation management.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to prepare and review all necessary documentation for import and export activities.
Knowledge of TANCIS (Tanzania Customs Integrated System) or similar customs portals.
A degree or diploma in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or a related business field.
Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with shipping lines and customs authorities.
