DATA ANALYST - SALES @ ROYAL MABATI
The Sales Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sales and business data to support strategic decision-making and drive commercial performance. The role focuses on transforming raw data into meaningful insights through reporting, dashboards, and trend analysis to enhance sales effectiveness, operational efficiency, and business growth. By identifying patterns and correlations in operational data, the analyst provides actionable recommendations that support data-driven growth across the organization. Additionally, the role involves using Advanced Excel, Power BI, and SQL to manage data retrieval and validation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, and Production to deliver tailored analytical solutions. The position also entails providing basic IT support related to data systems, including troubleshooting hardware and setting up systems to ensure smooth operations and data integrity within the reporting infrastructure.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Economics.
At least 3-5 years' experience in data analysis, sales analytics, or a related analytical role.
Proficiency in Advanced Excel including PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas, and macros.
Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
Ability to write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data efficiently.
Experience in collecting and cleaning structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
Proven ability to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in sales and operational data.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Basic IT support skills related to hardware configuration and data system troubleshooting.
Ability to automate reporting processes and improve data pipelines for enhanced accuracy.
