Roxico Industrial Company Limited is looking for a high-performing Senior Accountant to join our team in Kibaha, Tanzania. This key role involves leading end-to-end financial management, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and closing procedures. You will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements and providing strategic insights to senior management to support business growth and ensure full compliance with Tanzanian tax laws.
Beyond basic accounting, the Senior Accountant will drive cost control, budgeting, and financial performance analysis. You will manage cash flow monitoring, financial risk assessments, and coordinate both external and internal audits. Key Requirements
Tanzanian national with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3–5 years of proven accounting experience within Tanzania.
Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and tax regulations.
Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a strong advantage.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems.
High integrity, strong attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
Fluent in English (written and verbal).
Experience in corporate finance and financial risk assessment.
Chinese language proficiency is considered a nice-to-have skill.
Ability to lead end-to-end financial management and closing processes.
