INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN / INSTRUMENT SUPERVISOR @ ROSHNI MADRE
This opportunity is for experienced Instrument Technicians and Supervisors to participate in a 2-month shutdown project within the Oil & Gas sector in Qatar. The roles involve high-intensity maintenance and calibration activities aimed at ensuring the integrity and functionality of all plant instrumentation. Successful candidates will be responsible for complex troubleshooting, managing HART communication systems, and interpreting P&ID diagrams to maintain operational standards during the critical shutdown phase. As part of this short-term project, employees will engage with various field instruments, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters. Hands-on experience with control valves is essential. The position requires a disciplined approach to safety and the ability to work effectively under the time constraints inherent in shutdown operations. Applicants must have relevant field experience and the necessary certifications to work in a high-stakes industrial environment in Qatar.
Key Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Experience in installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instruments.
Knowledge of pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
Hands-on experience with control valves and HART communication.
Ability to read P&ID and loop diagrams.
Willingness to work for a 2-month shutdown project.
Strong understanding of safety procedures in oil and gas environments.
Proficiency in using multimeters and loop calibrators.
Ability to work effectively in a team-based technical environment.
High school diploma or technical certification in instrumentation.
