Roselle Foods is seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales & Marketing Officer to support the strategic growth of our fresh and frozen product lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding our consumer base, and executing marketing initiatives to ensure strong brand presence in a competitive FMCG market. This role involves active market participation, including driving product distribution across assigned routes and managing key accounts within supermarkets and retail chains. The position is based at our facilities located at Plot 50410, off Morogoro Rd., Ubungo in Dar es Salaam, with regular travel required for market visits.

In addition to sales generation, the role requires meticulous coordination with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and handling of cold chain products. You will be responsible for monitoring competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer needs while maintaining high standards of product visibility. Success in this role is measured by the consistent achievement of sales targets, growth in market coverage, and the maintenance of professional relationships with all stakeholders. Key Requirements

Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in food or FMCG. Experience in cold chain (frozen products) environments and distribution requirements. Proven experience working with supermarkets, retail chains, or modern trade channels. Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts and maintain long-term retail relationships. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for sales reporting. Strong communication and negotiation skills to handle customer inquiries and feedback. Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed monthly sales targets. Basic knowledge of market analysis, pricing trends, and competitor monitoring. Ability to support basic maintenance and proper use of assigned sales vehicle/truck.
