The Quality Assurance Officer role is critical in maintaining compliance across the production process, from raw material intake to final product release, within a fast-paced food processing environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety management systems such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000, as well as regulatory standards from TBS and TFDA. Key tasks include inspecting raw materials, conducting laboratory testing, managing non-conformities, and maintaining comprehensive quality assurance documentation. You will also monitor cold chain compliance, handle customer complaints, and lead training for production staff on hygiene practices. Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Food Science & Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance within a food processing environment.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, and local regulatory requirements (TBS, TFDA).
Experience in laboratory testing and quality control procedures, including microbiological and chemical evaluation.
Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills for maintaining SOPs and batch records.
Ability to inspect and approve raw materials, packaging materials, and in-process production.
Proven ability to identify non-conformities and lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Detailed knowledge of product traceability systems and product recall readiness procedures.
Strict adherence to enforcing hygiene, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices across production areas.
Capability to monitor cold chain compliance for frozen and temperature-sensitive products.
Excellent communication skills for training production staff on food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to coordinate internal and external audits with certification bodies and local authorities.
