The role involves managing a diverse and high-capacity fleet consisting of Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Tata, and other leading European commercial truck brands.

As the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end maintenance and technical health of the fleet. Your primary goal will be to drive fleet availability, enforce stringent quality standards, and lead a team of skilled mechanics to ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with cross-border regulations. This is a strategic leadership position that requires a hands-on approach to technical challenges and a commitment to operational excellence in the demanding field of long-haul transport.

Familiarity with cross-border transport compliance and regulations for East and Central Africa. Hands-on technical experience with Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, and Tata commercial vehicles. Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with operations and dispatch teams. Relevant degree or higher diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
