MECHANICAL ENGINEER @ RIDA GROUP
RIDA Group is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join the Oreva Project in Geita, Tanzania. This role is pivotal to the success of our gold processing operations, where the selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical systems. Key duties include the supervision of mechanical installations, ensuring that all equipment is commissioned correctly and operates at peak efficiency. The engineer will work closely with other technical departments to ensure that project milestones are met while upholding the highest standards of engineering excellence.
Beyond technical oversight, the Mechanical Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining rigorous safety and quality compliance. This involves conducting regular inspections, verifying adherence to project specifications, and ensuring that all mechanical works align with international mining regulations. The position requires a collaborative individual who can coordinate effectively within a diverse team environment, contributing to the overall productivity and safety of the Oreva Project site.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
5–10 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering roles.
Proven experience in mining operations or Carbon-In-Pulp (CIP) systems is highly preferred.
Exceptional ability to read, interpret, and work from complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
Strong coordination and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams.
In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and quality standards within a mining or industrial environment.
Experience in the hands-on installation and commissioning of heavy machinery and mechanical systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance planning for gold processing plant equipment.
Familiarity with CAD software and other engineering design tools for technical analysis.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to produce detailed technical reports.
