ACCOUNTANT INTERN @ REVEURSE

Key responsibilities for this role include ensuring tax compliance and accurate statutory filings, preparing payroll, managing general accounting tasks, and maintaining meticulous bookkeeping records. Additionally, you will provide crucial support during audit processes and undertake other duties as assigned by supervisors, managing partners, or directors, which may encompass special projects, reports, or analyses vital for business operations.

Key Requirements
Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Knowledge of Tanzanian tax and statutory compliance requirements (VAT, PAYE, SDL, NSSF, WCF, Withholding Tax, Corporate Tax).
Familiarity with payroll processing and payroll-related statutory deductions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience or exposure to accounting software.
Minimum 1 year of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or internship experience.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
